KPV (Lysine-Proline-Valine) is a naturally occurring tripeptide fragment derived from the C-terminal end of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH). It is studied in research settings for its anti-inflammatory signaling properties independent of the melanocortin receptor pathway, with particular research interest in gut-barrier and localized inflammation models.
Each vial is lyophilized and shipped with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis confirming purity via HPLC and mass spectrometry.
Storage: Store lyophilized peptide refrigerated (2–8°C) prior to reconstitution; use bacteriostatic water for reconstitution.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary consumption, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.
